CONNECTED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Our Roadside Assist Centre is always on call to provide you with a range of services relating to roadside emergencies. A state-of-the-art tracking device installed in your vehicle enables us to pinpoint your location anywhere within South Africa at all times. This improves response times in the event of an emergency, allowing us to come to your aid as quickly as possible
FLAT TYRE
We will attempt to change the tyre on-site; failing which, we will arrange to tow the vehicle.
FLAT BATTERY
We will attempt to start your vehicle on site. Where this cannot be done we will tow the vehicle in line with the towing benefit.
KEYS LOCKED IN VEHICLE
We will arrange for a locksmith to attend to your vehicle. If the ignition is damaged as a result of an attempted theft, we will arrange to tow the vehicle. Any additional labour costs, charges relating to repair/replacement of locks, ignition switches, or cutting of keys will need to be covered by the vehicle owner or their insurer
RUNNING OUT OF FUEL
We will deliver fuel to your vehicle on site. Note that the cost of fuel will be for your own account.
TOWING COSTS
We will arrange to tow the vehicle to the nearest insurance-approved panel beater, approved dealer or to your home, provided that our towing cost is limited to a maximum of R650.
VEHICLE STORAGE
If the vehicle is required to be temporarily stored we will arrange and pay for the safe storage of the vehicle for a maximum of 3 days up to an amount of R1 000.
REPATRIATION OF VEHICLE
If the vehicle has been left for repair we will arrange and pay up to a maximum of R2 000 for the cost of collecting the vehicle and returning it to your place of residence after the repair has been effected
MAXIMUM BENEFIT PAYABLE PER VEHICLE PER ANNUM
The maximum amount payable in respect of all events in any one annual period is limited to R5 000
